The CI202 portable area meter is CID's most affortable leaf area meter. It consists of a high speed scanner and a scan board with built-in data logger, display, function keys and batteries. The board also has guide rails and a transparent film attached for smooth scanner movement. To measure a leaf, simply lift the film, place the leaf on the board. The leaf area, length, width perimeter, ratio and shape factor are all measured at the same time.  Measurement may also be performed while the leaf is still attached to the plant. Over 4000 data sets can be stored and transferred to a computer or printer.
