Electro
Magnetic Field Tester,
840025
|
Measures electro magnetic emissions from power lines, computer
monitors, television sets, video machinery and other electrical appliances. While the
evidence of the carcinogenic effect of such electromagnetic emissions is still
inconclusive, the U.S. EPA recommends "prudent avoidance" to avoid excess
exposure over long periods of time. Can be used to check compliance with the European
Union's Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive IEC 801-1 (EN 50081-1) as well as sections
relevant to specific types of laboratory, measurement control equipment IEC 204 (EN
60204). Built in single axis probe covers a range of 0.1 to 199.9 mGauss with an accuracy
±4% +3 digits at 50/60Hz. Powered by a single 9V battery which lasts approx. 200
hours.
