Smart Reader 1 is an easy-to-use data logger designed for effortless temperature recording. Quick and simple to set up, it works right ou of the box, logging temperature readings from its internal precision-calibrated on-board sensor. For added versatility you can also use an optional remote temperature probe.

Applications :

Checking out comfort complaints, settlings disputes, balancing heating and cooling systems, troubleshooting Energy Management controls, and monitoring the transportation and storage of temperature-sensitive goods.

Accessories : ET Thermistor temperature probes. SmartReader 1 is compatible with any NTC thermistor probe.

Software Requirements :
1. TrendReader for DOS-MS DOS version 3.0 or later and at least 512 K of RA memory. TrendReader for DOS supports a wide range of printers and plotters.
2. TrendReader for Windows-Windos version 3.1 or later already running with at least 2MB of RAM memory and 2MB of hard drive disk space
Product Approvals : Meets Class A radiated and conducted emission requirements of Section 2 of the Radio Interference Regulations of Communications Canada and of Part 15 for Digital Devices of the Code of Federal Regulations of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
Resistance to X-Rays : Tested for protection against a 160kV dose @ 5mA for 30 seconds (150mA-sec) @ 38 inches F.F.D. (about 100 times that of an airport X-Ray machine). Tested for protection against Gamma Ray (equivalent to 0.1337 - 1.38 mega volts) IR 192 - 28 curies @ 30 second exposure source to object distance 5"
