In situations where the equipment is spread out over several miles or the product being monitored is moving throughout a factory setting, a hardwired solution is not economical.

Typical Applications :

Water Distribution Systems

A simple RF Peer-to-Peer solution :
In a typical water distribution system, remote pumping stations, tanks, and weels are located throughout a town or city. Dancer RF remote modules are designed to handle the Peer-toPeer communication necessary at each station. The Dancer RF Telemetry units will be located at each remote station and transmit analog and digital signals to each other. The RF modules can be added easily to a current system, without the need to run expensive cabling. The addition of a Telephone Gateway will allow a central office to monitor many remote sites.

Petro-Chemical Plant Monitoring

Monitoring a Tank Farm :
In many petro-chemical plants, tank farms and other process equipment are located up to several miles from a cetral office. Dancer Remote RF Modules can be used to monitor conditions at these remote areas and send key information back to a central location. The RF Router or Receiver module may be tied into a host computer or a computer network. The RF Remote Modules will transmit critical operational data in real time.

Factory Floor Tracking Systems

Tracking Product Throughout a Factory :
Self-contained RF modules are used to track products as they move throughout a factory. An RF solution allows data to be transmitted/received quickly and accurately from remote areas to/from a central location. The system may be comprised of standard RF Remote Modules and an RF Receiver or Router tied to a computer with a graphical user interface. Information is provided in real time, allowing for immediate identification of problems so corrective action can be taken. Operational data can be stored for future analysis.
