Everyone knows the difficulties involved in accurate temperature regulation. Incorrect temperature measurements can result in inconsistencies in the finished product. Hanna Instruments offers two portable temperature recorders to provide you with accurate and reliable temperature measurements. HI9271 uses on temperature probe while HI9274 can take up to 4 readings simultaneously using four separate interchangeable probes. Models that read in either Centigrade or Fahrenheit are available. These accurate thermometers print the interval, lot number, elapsed time and temperature at user-selectable intervals.

Applications are infinite; from the goods-in areas, to food processing and from storage to transportation. This versatile meter can also operate from a 12 VDC car battery or battery charger.

Interchangeable probe
The wide range of applications in the food industry plus the general effects of wear and tear lead to frequent changing of the temperature probes. With conventional thermometers, every time the probe is changed the instrument needs to be recalibrated. This is both time consuming and involves the purchase of costly temperature baths. As a response, Hanna has developed the HI762 pre-calibrated probes which are completely interchangeable and provide excellent accuracy and repeatability. These probes are available with colored handles to avoid sample cross-contamination.

Built-in printer
With a low-power printer ensuring longer battery life these compact, portable thermometers can be transported anywhere in the plant. The printer uses normal rather than thermal paper which does not fade over time.

Accuracy
The HI9271 and HI9274 are calibrated against NIST standards and come supplied with a factory certificate of calibration. To check your meter's accuracy, simply plug in one of Hanna's calibration keys.
