This lightweight, digital stroboscope is the first of its kind to feature internal batteries. No heavy external battery packs means easy handling and true portability. Batteries employed are rechargeable sealed lead acid type that operate reliability in excess of 60 minutes at 6,000 FPM (flashes per minute).

The Nova-Strobe DB Plus provides ± 1 FPM accuracy over the entire operating range. A temperature stable internal reference ensures low drift operation. As well, coarse/fine knob provides infinite adjustment and precise selection of flash rate. Display is back-lighted 6 digit LCD for easy reading in all ambiant light conditions. Input and output 1/8 phono jacks enable the stroboscope to be remotely triggered and synchronized to external events or operated in a Master/Slave configuration. Both input and output signals are TTL compatible. A latching trigger and 1/4-20 UNC tripod mount allows for hands-free operation. A highly efficient switching circuit assures that the stroboscope will remain cool, event at continuous full power operation. Convert to a optional tachometer with ROS-SP mesures to 200,000 RPM.
