This system is designed for the efficient recovery of floating hydrocarbons. The PRS-90 uses a stainless steel bladder style pneumatic pump coupled to a unique floating skimmer attachment. This skimmer attachment is available for 2" and larger wells and can accomodate groundwater fluctuations in excess of 24".

The skimmer attachment consists of a polyethylene buoy which is guided by a stainless steel center shaft, and allows the free floating product to be skimmed down to less than one hundredth of a foot over the entire effective travel distance.

The standard system includes a 110V AC 3/4 hp portable air compressor fitted with an automatic tank drain valve and air filter. The PRS-90 control unit contains dual timers which alternate the pressurization and venting of the pump, thus utilizing a single air supply line to the well. Also contained within the control unit is a non-electric tank overfill protection sensor which prohibits the overfilling of the product collection tank.

The PRS-90 system has been designed for easy portability in the field and fast installation. Typical PRS-90 sites are recovering floating hydrocarbons within two hours of installation.
