| The Morse 8" Disc Pulverizer is designed for grinding virtually any material and is especially recommended for assay offices, metallurgical, soil and other commercial/industrial laboratories. The pulverizer can reduce 90 lbs. of quartz type material from 1/4" feed to minus-100 mesh (nominal) in one hour. Grinding is performed between two 8" wide, replaceable abrasion-resistant discs. |  |
During operation, one disc remains stationary while the other revolves as the feed material passes between the discs. Pulverizer and motor are mounted on a 32"x40" steel plate.
Accessories and options include a specially designed, fabricated steel, elevated pulverizer base assembly (shown in photo); drive motors to meet a large variety of available electrical characteristics, and special heat-treated cast alloy steel grinding discs.
