The FH series combines advanced probe technology

FH series
The FH is an advanced series of low cost transmitters used
to measure humidity and temperature in greenhouses, manufacturing areas,
clean rooms, research laboratories and other industrial applications.
Depending on the application, choose either 2-wire loop powered or 3-wire
electronics. The linearized output signals (DC current or voltage) are
directly compatible with remote displays, recorders, controllers or
various data processing systems.
Installation
The FH series features a unique installation procedure
widely accepted by contractors and installers. Here is how simple it
is:
Units are factory calibrated. Base plate and electronics
are shipped in an individual box for protection during shipment or
storage.
- Hole is drilled in duct or wall to clear the probe
(duct mount only). Base plate is mounted and wires are connected.
Electronic module safety remains in original box.
- Since no electronics are invloved during the
installation, the base plate can be wired safely during any phase of the
contruction.
- After final construction, electronic module is just
snapped into the base plate and secured.
The HygroClip
The HygroClip is digital humidity-temperature plug-in
probe with two analog outputs and a one-wire digital interface. The
HygroClip uses the well proven ROTRONIC HYGROMER capacitive humidity
sensor and a 1/3 DIN precision RTD. Both sensors offer exceptional
durability and stability in all kinds of environments. The HygroClip has
an separate range or 0...100%RH and -40 ...85°C (-40...185°F). Digital
signal processing withinh the HygroClip maintains accurate measurements
over the entire operating range.
About maintenance
Whenever maintenance in needed, both the HygroClip and the
modular design of the FH series offer the following unique
benefits.
The HygroClip provides true, 100% interchangeability.
Unlike products that just feature a plug-in / interchangeable sensor, the
HygroClip can be replaced in seconds without any calibration and without
any loss of accuracy. Inside the HygroClip, a non-volatile memory retains
the calibration data, sensor characteristics, serial number, etc. Finally,
if the transmitter electronics need to be replaced, the modular design of
the FH series makes it a snap.
ROTRONIC offers easy-to-uses software and accessories for
in-house calibration. If you do not wish to calibrate, or if the HygroClip
needs replacement, use the unique HygroClip exchange program. This plan is
supported by the ROTRONIC worldwide distribution network. The fully
calibrated replacement HygroClip-R always contains a new humidity sensor
and a brand new filter.
If your insdustry requires frequent calibrations, you may
want to consider rotating a number of HygroClips between the transmitters
that are installed and a service stock of calibrated probes.
Both during installation and during maintenance, the FH
series saves time and money.
