The HP-GPS-L4 is a complete GPS backpack system for creating and updating GIS level maps to 30-60cm accuracy.

The HP-GPS-L4 system includes:

  • 12-channel GPS receiver (C/A and Carrier)
  • Multipath rejection antenna
  • 15m antenna cable
  • (2) NiMH rechargeable batteries and recharger
  • (2) power cables, single battery and parallel (2 battery)
  • 2m coiled data cable
  • Aluminum framed nylon backpack w/antenna pole
  • PC5L-GPS hand-held computer with MS-DOS® 5.0 and CMT-FIELD®
  • PC-GPS 3.2, CMT's MS Windows® based mapping software

Compatible with Coast Guard Beacon Receiver
Obtain real-time differential correction with CMT's Coast Guard Beacon Receiver package.

HP-GPS-L4 Features 30-60cm Accuracy
Using C/A code, the HP-GPS-L4 can attain 30-60 centimeter accuracy with real-time RF differential correction or post-processing by uploading and processing your C/A code data in PC-GPS.

Using Carrier Phase, the HP-GPS-L4 can attain as good as 5 cm accuracy through post-processing with the Carrier Phase differential correction module provided with PC-GPS 3.2.
