The new TW-770 reduces pipe and cable tracing to a simple, almost effortless procedure. Only one knob to turn it on and adjust volume. That's it; no additional controls and only one knob to press and get a digital readout depth in inches or centimeters. Operator technique and training is greatly reduced for this rugged, electronically sophisticated line tracer.

As the operator walks the line swinging the receiver left and right, he sees a continuous display of signal strength as a digital percentage and in bar graph form. In addition arrows point him left or right and tell him when he's over the target. The audio signal gives a pulsating sound when the operator is right of the line and a continuous sound on the left. There is a peak sound over the line and the display reads OVER TARGET. A push of the button gives depth in inches or centimeters.
