CUV3
The CUV3 is a general purpose instrument for measuring the
global irradiance of UV radiation.
CUV3 is designed for application in meteorology, for material
testing and for monitoring of lamps. It is robust and easy to use.
Mechanically and electrically CUV3 is compatible with the standard
Kipp & Zonen pyranometers. The instrument is suitable for
continuous outdoor installation. |

The instrument has sensitivity across the entire UV range, covering
both UVA and UVB. The design is based on a combination of diffusor, filter
and photodiode.
The diffusor ensures the correct angular response. The instrument has
excellent specification in this respect. The filter is the main component
responsible for the spectral response. The photodiode generates a voltage
output linearly proportional to the UV intensity.
