The B-100 Series of high
powered UV inspection lamps offer brilliant irradiance for optimum
fluorescence. Lamp heads are mounted onto pistol-grip handles that balance
well in the hand. These ergonomically designed units reduce operator
fatigue. The grip handle fits into the transformer base allowing the lamp
head to rotate a full 360° (not applicable to B-100SP, B-100EP). All "P"
series lamps come with the Cool-Touch housing (two patents) which allows
users to handles the lamp head regardless of how long the lamp has been
on. These rugged lamps are molded from a special heat-resistant
plastic. This feature comes standard on AP, YP, and EP models. All high
powered UV lamps can be placed face down on a working surface without
damage to the filter.
B-100AP and AP/R Lamps
This B-100AP
model provides 100 watts of high intensity longwave illumination. At 18
inches (457 mm), the lamp produces a highly intense center of UV
irradience about 5 inches (127 mm) in diameter. This lamp features the
Cool-Touch housing. The B-100AP lamp head is connected to the transformer
bsse by an 8 foot (2.44 m) cord. These lamps set the standard for high
intensity longwave UV. Uses include science, NDT and fluorescence
inspection.
B-100AP/R has the same features as B-100AP plus 20 foot (6.1 m) primary and secondary cords which provide added modility. Two cord holders, extending 2.93 inches (74 mm) on two sides of the ballast, keep cord under control.
B-100SP Lamp
This 160 watt longwave,
self-ballasted lamp is our most portable high powered lamp. The ballast is
built directly into the bulb. An 8 foot (2.44 m) cord and bulb-protector
come standard. An on/off switch is positioned on the handle for
accessibility. B-100SP is perfect for small garage leak detection.
B-100EP Lamp
B-100EP (patent pending) is
powered by a unique electronic ballast. When not in use, the lamp stores
on a wall-mounted hook. This convenient hook allows for off-the-floor
storage and automatically switches the lamp into low power rest mode. This
low power mode extends lamp life, lowers electrical expenses and lets the
lamp instantly go to normal high intensity mode when removed from the
hook, thereby avoiding the normal lamp warm-up period. B-100EP features 8
ft. primary and 20 ft. secondary cords. This is an excellent lamp for
manufacturing and leak detection professionals.
