The high grade steel augers in this set are unpainted for soil investigation studies. They can be used for augering above the water table in all soils and below the water table in cohesive soils. |

All of the augers in the set are 7 cm diameter, allowing for quick changes when augering in layered soil profiles. Having a complete set on hand allows you to perform more accurate soil sampling. When used in combination with the Bayonet style handle and extensions, the desired sampling depth can be reached with minimum of effort and time.
