With the BV-BIOSEN 5040 a glucose
or lactate analyzer for a medium amount of samples will be given to physicians,
general practitioners or clinicians as well as scientists in research
institutes that are special designed to meet their requirements.
The device and sample handling becomes very simple:
- fill 20 µl end-to-end-capillary with blood, plasma or serum
- put the filled end-to-end capillary into the prefilled cup,
close the lid and shake it powerfull.
- put the cup into a free table position
push the start-bottom, app. 30 to 40 sec. the result will be displayed
- durability:
24 hours by storing in a refrigerator or
12 hours by storing at room temperature
For the test itself a filled 20µl obtained end-to-end capillary is needed, which is to be given in a prefilled reaction container. After closing the lid and shaking the container a few times, the sample is ready to use. It is to be decided either to insert it into the sample-tray or to store it for some hours before testing it. The fast withdrawable sample-tray is prepared for the inserting of
40 samples and 3 quality-controls. After pushing the Start-key the device will identify automatically all fitted-in samples and will test them.
The measuring results, which are available after a short time, will be stored together with the sample and tray number and, if it is desired, served out by printer or EDP.
For a better sample identification the BV-BIOSEN 5040 can be ordered
with an barcode scanner.
A lot of device parameters can be set to meet individual requirements by using a comfortable display-guided menu, such as language, borders for the double-determination of pathological samples or the transfer-protocols of the interfaces.
All auxiliary material, necessary for the daily trouble-free work can be received in ready to use packages. Based on this fact failures in handling can be generally avoided.
