3320 pH meter
Appropriate error messages are displayed and with the "HELP" menus, guidance is given for corrective actions. Temperature measurement is displayed and provides compensation for the effects of temperature on the response of the pH electrode. The unit is programmed to automatically recognise 2.00, 4.00, 7.00, 9.22 and 10.05 calibration buffers and compensate calibration values for the associated temperature characteristics. User defined buffer values can also be manually entered. The instrument will provide a choice of 1, 2 or 3 point calibration. In addition, the electrode slope can be monitored and displayed. While primarily intended for pH determinations, the Model 3320 is capable of displaying the sensor output in millivolts allowing use of Ion Selective Electrodes and determination of Redox (ORP) potentials. The mV reading can be made in absolute terms or offset to enable relative changes to be easily tracked. The unit features a 100 memory location data-logging facility which enables storage of results. Subsequent recall of individual or multiple results can be made to the display or down loaded to a printer or PC via the bi-directional RS232 link. Logged results are stored in non-volatile memory. A real time clock permanently displays either day, month and year or hours, minutes and seconds thus satisfying the requirements of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) quality assurance protocols. All logged results and calibration routines are time stamped. User programmable options include the ability to prompt calibration or measurement at pre-determined intervals and the setting of alarm points which are activated when the measured parameters fall outside preset limits. A printout of a typical result along with the necessary GLP is shown. A polarised Karl Fisher output is provided. Karl Fisher titrations are enabled by the provision of a 10µA polarising current output. Specifications
